Joe Parsons

Joseph Parsons was raised and has lived in Flagler County the majority of his life, attending Bunnell Elementary to graduating from Flagler Palm Coast High School. He has over two decades of experience in the private sector doing a wide variety of civil design and permitting work through the state of Florida. Having a strong background in civil, land surveying and permitting has equipped Joe with a solid foundation to serve the development community.

As the Community Development Director, Joe and his team not only manage the day-to-day operations of the Community Development activities of the City of Bunnell but also work intimately with the City’s Administrators, Boards, Committees, Residences, and the Development Industry to apply forward thinking by forecasting and developing strategies on ensuring not only the community’s land growth viability but how the “Crossroads of Flagler”, better known as the City of Bunnell can lead the charge in changing the landscape that is the Community’s growth success.

Having years of experience working with permitting jurisdictions, it is the goal of this director to work with everyone to successfully navigate the development and permitting process. “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.”  ~ Henry Ford

In his off time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, camping, fishing, and mountain biking.
