Public Records Requests

Public record requests may be made in person, by phone, by fax or by email. Please note that most record requests are not completed the same day the request is made. If applicable, requesting parties are contacted when a request is ready for pickup.

Florida Statutes ensure the anonymity of anyone requesting public records. There is no requirement to supply information such as name, address, or phone number; make a request in writing; or give a reason for the request. 

The Bunnell Police Department fulfills public records requests at no charge if requests can be completed in the first 30 minutes of staff time and may be provided to the requestor by email. If the request requires more than 30 minutes to complete or materials such as a storage device, shipping, and/or postage, an estimate for the cost of staff time and materials to is provided before any work begins. Only after payment is received will work to fulfill the request begin.
