Bunnell Utility Customers: EMERGENCY WATER ONLY

September 29, 2022 - Effective immediately, Bunnell officials ask all water utilities customers to ONLY use water for an emergency situation.  This notice is in place until further notice is provided by the City.

With the rain the County has experienced since September 16 and the rain brought by Ian, the Wastewater Treatment Plant has no further storage; manholes have begun to overflow.  The creek the City would utilize for storage is overflowing as well.

Several streets in the core of the City are flooded and impassable.  Do not try to drive through standing water; it is a hazard and could leave you stranded.  Do not allow anyone to play in the stormwater/flooded streets.

All citizens are asked to continue to shelter in place until the Emergency Operations Center advises it is safe to be outside again.  The storm has not finished passing and there are still wind and flooding risks ahead.
