Bunnell residents: cease non-essential water usage

FLAGLER COUNTY MEDIA RELEASE
September 29, 2022 – Effective immediately, Bunnell officials ask their residents and utilities customers to cease non-essential water usage until further notice.

“Right now, our manhole covers are overflowing with rainwater,” said Bunnell City Manager Alvin Jackson. “That will change, so please no more showers or dishes or other non-essential uses.”

City officials ask residents to limit toilet flushing as well.

“Please use water sparingly for at least the next 24 hours, but this could last longer because of the amount of rain we are getting at this time” Jackson said.

Bunnell officials are working with the Department of Environmental Protection to find a solution.
