Versie Lee Mitchell Community Center

The 1,700 square foot VLMCC can accommodate intimate gatherings and small business functions. The VLMCC has a 70 person maximum capacity. It was built in 1995 and was recently renamed on December 9th, 2009 in honor of a fallen World War II soldier from Bunnell, who had enlisted at Camp Blanding on March 27, 1943 and who died for his country in Burma on January 19, 1944. Versie Lee Mitchell’s dedication plaque can be seen inside the center hanging on the wall next to a large scroll of other service members who sacrificed their lives for our Country.
