Our Mission

It is the mission of Bunnell Public Works to assist the City Manager by serving the needs and protecting the safety of this outstanding city through sound Civil and Environmental Engineering principles, while preserving the rural character of the community that defines our "Home Town, America Charm". Examples of the duties and responsibilities of Bunnell Public Works include but are not limited to:

• Excellence in roadway, landscaping, and vegetation maintenance
• Maintenance repair and construction of underground infrastructure
• Oversight of capital project construction, such as the extension of the Commerce Parkway
• Evaluation, identification and prioritization of critical infrastructure renewal and replacement needs. This includes stormwater, and transportation systems
• Design, permitting and bidding of in-house engineering projects
• Selection and oversight of project consultants
• Administering of Federal, State and Local grant requirements as needed
