Warrant Served on Subject From May 10, 2022 Weapons Incident

Bunnell, FL (May 12, 2022) – On May 11, 2022, the Bunnell Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Improper Exhibition of Dangerous Weapons or Firearms for Earnest L. Watson III (DOB 12/27/95). This was related to the shooting on May 10, 2022, near the intersection of East Booe Street and South Cherry Street.

After obtaining the warrant, members of the Bunnell Police Department and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office PACE and Intelligence Units, implemented a plan to take Watson into custody. On May 11, 2022 at approximately 10:54pm, Watson was arrested by a member of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office PACE Unit on the warrant, and they transported him to the Flagler County Jail with no bond.
