2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

On Saturday, January 14, 2023, the MLK Celebration Committee will host their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.  The event is held at the GW Carver Gym and on the Carver Fields and includes speeches from dignitaries and officials, a prayer breakfast, parade and continuing celebrations and fellowship following the parade.

 

The event will start at 9:00 AM with the prayer breakfast starting at 10:00 AM.  The parade will start at 12:00 PM and follow the route shown in the attached picture.  Once the parade ends, on-going fellowship will continue on the Carver Fields until about 3:30 PM.
