2023 Bunnell Municipal Elections

Bunnell, FL (January 18, 2023) - The City of Bunnell Qualifying Period for the scheduled 2023 Municipal Elections closed at noon on January 13, 2023.  The City was scheduled to hold a Regular Municipal Election for two Commissioner seats and a Special Election for the vacancy created by the July 2022 resignation of Commissioner Barnes.  Candidate Handbooks had been available since the end of October 2022.

John Rogers and Peter "Pete" Young qualified for the Regular Municipal Election Race and Tonya Gordon qualified to run in the Special Election Race.  Both races are un-opposed.  As a result, there will not be a Municipal Election for the City of Bunnell on March 7, 2023.  The next Bunnell Municipal Election will be held in 2025.

John Rogers and Peter "Pete" Young will each serve a three year term which expires in 2026.  Tonya Gordon will serve out the remainder of the term which expires in 2025.

In accordance with the City Charter, all three Commissioners will be sworn into office at the April 10, 2023 City Commission Meeting.
