Mission Statement

The mission of the Utilities Department is to provide the highest quality of water and wastewater service to the City of Bunnell.

Description of Activities
The Utilities Department oversees the water treatment and wastewater treatment divisions of the City of Bunnell while maintaining the collection system and distribution system. The department is organized into three divisions, the water treatment division, the wastewater treatment division, and the maintenance division.

Water Treatment Plant
The City operates on a lime softening system. This is a process of using lime to soften the water before being distributed to the City. If there are any questions concerning the water quality call 386-437-7512.

Wastewater Treatment Plant
The wastewater treatment plant is responsible for the process control and treatment of raw sewage that is generated throughout the City of Bunnell. This plant is a Bardenpho Treatment Plant. Should you have any questions call 386-437-7511.

Maintenance
The maintenance division is responsible for the collection and distribution system throughout the City. The maintenance division maintains the lift stations, and the water and sewer lines throughout the City. The maintenance division can be contacted at 386-586-5159 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Utilities Director
The Director oversees all three divisions within the Utilities Department. The Director is the link to City Hall and can be reached at 386-586-5159 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
