All services, Commercial & residential start April 1st.
* Yard waste is now picked up on Monday (please use your old
garbage cans for your clean up) no wire ties for bundles leave them
loose. No plastic bags if possible.
* If you are a residential customer please expect two brand new
garbage cans. One dark blue 95 gallon for garbage and the other is a
dark blue with a yellow lid for recycling.
* Garbage is still the same days. Residential Tuesday & Friday.
* Commercial: Commercial customers can expect new containers and
same service as per your agreement.
* Recycling is still Wednesday: You may recycle cardboard, junk
mail, newspaper, bottles, tin cans, aluminum can, glass bottles, milk
jugs, soap jugs and all plastic containers with the recycling marks
stamped on them with the numbers1 thru 7. Please put them all together
in the yellow lidded cart. Put out this cart when it is almost full.
* Appliance/White Goods (please call for special pickup)
DO NOT USE YOUR RECYCLING BINS ANY MORE. Please leave them out to be picked up.
* The city will supply the 2 wheeled carts and the commercial
contains at no charge.
* All the carts and containers have serial numbers and are
assigned to your address.
* Please have carts out by 6 AM or the night before.
* Place them out to the curb away from parked cars.
* Keep them away from all mail boxes; place them on the opposite
side of the driveway away from the mail box. (It is against the law to
block a mail box). It is inconvenient for the mail carrier to deliver to
a blocked mail box.
