The department serves the 2600 citizens, many visitors, and 141 square miles of property with 18 volunteer fire fighters and one part-time chief paid by the City of Bunnell. The purpose of the Bunnell Fire Department is to protect lives, property and the environment of the citizens and visitors of Bunnell by providing the highest level of service through fire prevention, public education, fire suppression, and the mitigation of the effects of natural and man made disasters with the resources and funding available.

Our dedicated volunteers contribute numerous hours every week training, maintaining our equipment, and protecting the lives and property of the citizens and visitors of Bunnell. If you would like to join our team of dedicated volunteers, fill out an application on the website and drop it by the Bunnell Fire Department at 1769 Old Moody Blvd or at City Hall at 200 South Church Street in downtown Bunnell.
